Dedicated to the memory of Erjon Yani Janko

This site is a tribute to Erjon Yani Janko . He is a much loved son/husband/father and grandfather  and will always be remembered.

Dad was cruely taken away from everyone by cancer in February after battling cholangiocarcinoma since 2023. He lived a full happy life before this devastating news. Dad was always a family man and a good friend to so many people who were fortunate enough to have him in their life.

He enjoyed holidays twice a year with family visiting his  birth place back in albania. He was also known very well here in Hastings for his love of BBQs, all things cars and greek dancing. These are some of the memories that will stay with us all forever.

He leaves behind all his family who adored him so much and dearly miss him. But he fought so hard for these last couple of years to stay by their sides and showing them what true strength is. Dad out lived the doctors predictions and proved everyone just how determind he was to try and beat this disease. But unfortunately he could not fight any longer and sadly passed away in February 2025. For this strength, bravery and undergoing every treatment and operation possible, we are all so proud of him and will forever hold him in our hearts.

St.michaels hospice were a great help and support during his battle. They were always at the end of the phone or there to fight his corner with making sure he had the right medications when needed. They were there at every step of his journey. Therefore instead of flowers we would encourage anyone that would have liked to have bought flowers to donate whatever they can to St.Michael’s hospice, so they can carry on doing their amazing support for not just patients but also supporting the family around them.

Thankyou ♥️
